Getting Started

JSON Clock displays clocks in a circular window. You can move, resize, and load clocks in JSON format.

Moving the Window

Click and drag on the top half of the clock face to move it around the screen.

Resizing the Window

Click and drag on the bottom half of the clock face to resize the window. Expand the window by moving the mouse towards the bottom of the screen.

Opening Clocks

When opening a JSON file it must conform to the app's schema.

  1. Right-click on the clock face to update the look of the clock.
  2. Use File -> Open to load clocks written in the clock JSON format.
  3. Use the Finder to drag-n-drop a file onto the clock.
  4. Paste JSON into the clock.

Built-in Clocks

The app comes with preloaded clocks. Each one can be selected and viewed without opening external JSON files.

Viewing JSON

Use the JSON -> Show JSON to view and copy JSON for the current clock.

Copy/Paste

The Edit menu provides the capability to copy and paste JSON for the current clock to the system Clipboard.

Troubleshooting

If a clock fails to load, ensure the JSON file conforms to the expected format. Loading error messages may help debug JSON issues.
